I'm compiling a songbook for those long band bus journeys. I'd love to get your fav songs to include.

    So far, I've included...

    Killiemur Ball
    The life of a camel
    The Alphabet song
D***x is a girls best friend
    Grandfathers clock (ish ;))
    Roedean School
I dont want to be a solider
Roll me over in the clover
Shre was poor but she was honest
    Sir Jasper
    The Engineers song
    This Old man
    Good ship Venus
    Woodpeckers Song

You should be able to see the type of song i'm after - if you have any, PM or email them to me. PLEASE
    dont post the lyrics here
for fear of being moderated very quickly.

There is a great resource of songs on the here, (dont follow if easily offended!)

If anyone has lyrics or recordings by Ron & Rude boys, or Kevin Wilson would be interested to here from them.

Copies of the compiled songsheets can be sent to anyone interested

What about "Does your dad own a brewery?" (Cant post proper title here... ;) )

    Bring em on!
  6. was going to down to london with the county big band when the trumpet section started singing slaidburn and death and glory. it didnt last beacause someone shut them up by playing their lateset recording from their punk/ska band. (unrepeatable lyrics!!)

do they count as band bus songs?

    How about the following?

    Scotland The Brave
    The Gang-Bang Song
    The Tampax Factory
    A Girl from Glamorgan
The Department Store (Bit Weird, but fun anyway)
    Four and Twenty Virgins

    And my personal favourite
    Follow the Band

For lyrics to these, check out and look at Bound's Lyric Page. The pubs and bars of Nova Scotia, Virginia, Hamburg and Breda (Holland) are still ringing with the sound of our drunken (but still in tune!!) singing. Great fun!!!

I've got lyrics sheet for about 50 or so Rugby songs. Unfortunately, it's in a password protected MS Word file that I've lost the password to. If anyone knows a way to unlock it, I'll make it available
