Here's a few Puffin shots (and a Wheatear) from my trip to Skomer Island yesterday...

All taken on the E-3 with 70-300mm plus 1.4x

  2. Nice pics - but you could have wiped the mud off the puffin's beak before taking the shot :)

OK Mr Music Man, whilst I don't have David Bailey's camera, I'll see your puffin and raise you a ....

    Crested crane :

Our zoom isn't that great, we were up this close. We were justing having lunch and this crane just landed across the road and started walking up and down the street!

OK, so here you can now see the power (or lack thereof) of the zoom, but we were just strolling along the beach towards the shopping centre when this flew across our path.

Just a few yards further along the beach. Seemed quite happy for us to get quite close up.

I see you bird photos and raise you 1 Afro Chicken, 1 golden pheasant, 1 ugly as sin llama, and a stinky black boar. I know they are not as good as your photo's but i think the chicken is pretty awesome

Very nice, that IS one big butterfly!

Adding a picture is as easy as adding a link, once you have your pictures hosted, as you already have.

Simply copy your link, click on the image tab, (three along from the url tab, and paste your link in there.

    OR

You can "attach" images to your post which means you don't have to have the pictures hosted on a site.

Click on the paper clip and open "manage attachments". Browe your computer for your image (you may need to adjust the size), and select upload. This done, place your cursor where you want your image to appear in the post, click on the paperclip again and click on your image.
    :)

That's easy for you to say! I shall try to follow your instructions, but don't blame me if you get a view of Uranus (or perhaps tonight's new moon) instead-hee hee! ;)
