    Hi guys,

a couple of weeks back I've purchased the Salvation Army March 'Under Two Flags' by B. Coles. The parts supposed to be high quality reproductions but I am not totally happy with the quality of some of the parts (especially the solo cornet part).

Has anyone this march in their band library and could send me a copy of the solo cornet part? Please send a pm.

    Thanks a lot.

    Have you contacted SP&S?

    They are the original publishers.

Its in the Blu book - band favourites

It's also worth noting, that in the grace notes before the last section there is a discrepancy between the solo cornet part and the conductors score, this was discovered whilst it was been recorded...we were reliably informed that the score was right!

If you don't adjust it, it will always sound like someone is playing a wrong note! as it is at odds with the 1st cornet part if not corrected.

I'll check the grace notes. Thanks for mentioning that.

I bought the march from SP&S! But I didn't buy a book. I bought the march on its own (that's maybe the difference. Maybe the quality in the book is better?)
