I heard about this this morning...shocking!

But what brilliant advertising, it's been on national news all day. I'm so stupid that I'll buy a packet of smarties when the new packets come out just because it's something new!
Arhh well, no more firing the lids at people any more

Just followed your link, when I heard it on the radio this morning I didn't think they meant like that! I thought they meant a flat hexagon that was about 1-2 smarties wrong i was!

But then they wuldnt be able to put anything in it
  6. "Mothers also like the new end because it doesn't come off easily and spill the Smarties on the floor."

They've got a good point with that one, it was annoying! But still!

Theres a simple answer to that dont turn it upside down  ;)
Are they gonna make it hexagonified for the big tubes of smarties aswell?

What's wrong with the world? You would have thought Nestle like the fact that kids etc spill them when they take the top off. It means you have to buy another tube. I think a day of mourning will be needed! :(

Not only have Nestle wrecked Kit Kats! They're now moving onto smarties! I'm thinking we protest, I mean I still haven't collected the full alphebet (spelt?) in smartie lids!!!!! I can't live knowing my collection may never be complete *runs and sobs in the corner*

yeah i know wot you mean, these company's come up with some really weird ideas don't they!

They're not weird idea's to them, we may think they're weird though.

    *refers to business studies book*

"company may change it's product in some way (e.g. packaging, variety, slogan, advertisement etc) when it reaches the saturation/decline section of the product life cycle graph"

See there's method behind the madness....... even though I don't like it!
