Skelmersdale prize band would like to welcome down 3 new players to the band.

Debbie Williams (principle cornet) joins the band after departing company with Old Hall Brass, Debbie brings to the band a vast amount of experience and is a great player, after a long search for a principle this shows that the band are determind to bring in quality and move up the gradings ladder.

Simon quinn (2nd cornet) who rejoins after a short break, Simon played with the band for a number of years and helped the band move into the championship section in the early 2000s. Simon is another strong player and were glad he has returned.

Ellen (3rd cornet) joins the band after a move from the buxton area to Skelmersdale, a former flugel player she is a strong player with a great sound and Ellen completes what is now a high quality back row for the band, along with Debbie the band has a great mix of young talent and a large amount of experience through the whole band and the future now looks very bright indeed.
