We used to playCcommunityland and and Singalong 1 and 2 - not sure who they're by and they're so old they are probably no longer published, but one of them definately included on mother kelly's doorstep.

Bizzarely, both Singalongs are still available (as is singalongamax 1 & 2 ). If you can find out which one you want I can get this for you. :)

Features as a trombone solo in a Gracy Fields selection - wasn't "On mother Kelly's doorstep" in the same one?

These selection all blur into one horrible muddle! Sally definitely is in one of the Singalongs, because I've conducted it and I don't know the Gracie Fields selections.

OK there are four "singalongs", (each with two parts/pages). The line up is:

Sing Along With the Band No1.:
    If You Knew Susie
    Isle of Carpri
    Now is the Hour
    Roll out the Barrel

Sing Along With the Band No 2:
    I'm Looking over a 4 leaf clover
    All of Me
    Bye Bye Blackbird
    Who's Taking You Home Tonight?

Sing With the Band No 1:
    Tavern in the Town
    My Grandfather's Clock
    Little Brown Jug
    Cockles & Mussels
    A Farmers Boy
    Loch Lomond
    John Brown's Body

Sing With The Band No 2:
    The Miller of Dee
    Some Folks Do
    All Through the Night
    John Peel
    Early One Morning
    My Bonnie
    Cock Robin
    Auld Lang Syne

    I hope this helps!

'On Mother Kelly's doorstep' must be in one of the Communityland selections - I definately remember my Mum singing along to this one - not a good memory!

By the sounds of things you will be quite close to November 11 when you have your concert, so why not add that perennial singalong hit "Keep Smiling Through"?

Hi Alan - do you also know the selections used in Black & White Minstrels? 1 and 2 would be sufficient.

    Hi Tubafran,

No sorry, we don't have that arrangement in our library, but Just Music shows:

Alexander's Ragtime Band; By the Light of the Silvery Moon; Oh You Beautiful Doll; etc.

But I have no idea what is in the "etc" part!

Also, there's the 1914-18 March, as used on Rememberance Sunday in London. Contains exerpts from well known war songs......
