Silent Brass & recording

  1. A techie question for you. Can a Silent Brass system be used to record music, either solo or with a backing track?

It doesn't have to be studio quality - just enough to make a rough demo to put on the web?

  4. How about recording on my pooter - would I need a special lead, and where would I plug it in?

    Er....dunno, I'm afraid - never used one.

That said, if it's got something like a line out on it all you'd need to do is take a lead from that into a line input on a PC and record with appropriate software...if all it's got is a headphone output then you could potentially use that although you may run into a few impedance issues.

Although I have the older module, the same principles of hooking up to PC applies ... connect to your soundcard using line in.
