I have an old lark baritone in my garden. A friends child fell over while marching and damaged it beyond economical repair so I pinched it, fastened it to a wall and planted flowers in it. Ebay seem to get a lot of scrappy instruments on there for sale usually advertised as 'ideal for restoration'.

    Ebay is great for junk.

It might also be worth talking to your local repair guys to see if they have any absolute rubbish (Lark) they want to get rid of.

Andy Thornton at Bradford supply most of the pub fit outs but they are well expensive.

£253 for a battered EEflat Bass or £103 for a cornet - best to look round house clearance shops.
