    It's only two weeks away now, so......who's going ?

    Crystal Palace will be there in the 1st Section

    Just agreed to play with St. Albans.

    What bands are going?

    Where is the bar?

    Vectis Brass Band won Yippee. As I play 1st Trombone.

    Was it judged on weight of player, volume produced or amount of beer drunk:confused: :D

    Is the full set of results published anywhere?

    Still looking ... not on 4BR, not on .... am I looking in the wrong place?!

    In the 1st section Chichester won, St. Albans were 2nd and Crystal Palace were 3rd (yippee!). Horsham won the march but think they were 4th in the test piece.

    Another good show by Paul Voet and Brass Band Panta Rhei in the champ. section it seems (2d place). Did they play Purcell Variants (by Peter Meechan)?

    Yes, the adjudicator said he enjoyed their performance, but obviously preferred Friary who were very good.

    Friary Guildford played "Tallis Variations" by Philip Sparke and the march "British Bandsman" by Derek Broadbent.
