Salford Uni Brass Band, Quintessence, Wed 27th Oct, 1.00pm, Peel Hall

This inaugural concert begins the cycle of the new academic years concert and event series. It sees
the return of experienced second / third year students and introduces new undergraduates to
the band programme. The programme will include a seasonal mix of classical brass band
transcriptions and original works. The Universities Music Directorate boasts a number of fine
individual soloists who will be featured in this concert.

You are aware that the poster has a rather blatant spelling mistake?
I.e. the title of the concert?

 

I guess some poor Arts Admin undergrad will be marked down for that one

 

It's spelt fine on the brochure!
Still, I go to the odd Salford concert no matter how its spelt.

 

As it is half term for some of us, I'm going to make the effort and have a listen tommorow. Last time I heard them it was at Regent Hall and was a very good FREE concert!
