Due to a band pulling out, we have 1 (one) space left.

This contest is open to unregistered, 4th and 3rd section bands.

The contest is on sat 5th June, starting mid afternoon till about 9pm.

Music: you have 20 mins to perform music of your choice there is a prize for best march, solo, hymn, but you don’t have to perform these.

The contest is a fun day, so remember there is 1 (one) Place left.

Edit: Moved from Recruitment Corner to Adjudicators. (RT)

I have conducted at this contest a few times in the past and can recommend it to anyone who is interested. It is extremely relaxed and friendly, well run and the venue of Ripon Cathedral is superb to play in.
I even had the priveledge of wining once with Horbury Victoria. It is a great day and a good contest.
    All the best to you.

Yay!!! I remember that :!: It is a great contest, good beer afterwards , although I favoured "The One Eyed Rat" for quality ales

So I'm guessing it must be Dave Neil...How are you sir?
