As a matter of interest, what were the test pieces? They don't seem to appear anywhere.

Pat Herak was so objective/modest in his 4BR article predicting the results of the NABBA Championship Section that he didn't even mention his own Brass Band of Columbus as a potential placing band--not even as a "dark horse." BBC played an extremely clean, clear, effective performance to place first.

Diana Herak placed first in the Adult Low Brass Slow Melody Competition, in which Pat, who also played a fine performance, was one of the 24(!) other entrants in that category.

    Congratulations to all.
