Bakewell came 14th. Very disapointing because we didn't put on a bad performance. Only a few little slip ups. But we're not gonna let it get to us. It's our first year up (although that made no difference to some, eh Sharon  hehe ) and we have plenty of time to prove our worth.

But congrats to all, it was a great contest and a fantastic day! And we had 2 birthdays to celebrate in our band which made the day even better!!
Hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did!!

Congratulations to all the three winners. Well done Sharon, cracking result. Let's hope the three qualifying bands can bring home some silverware from Harrogate.

Well done Roger! I thought you could have been a little higher up but still its not bad

Well done to Marie and Shirland, I think that puts them up to 2nd section next year (same section as their "senior" band!)

    Note to self:

Flaming Sambuca does NOT cure sore throats. Despite what the Twigges may tell you!

Heard all bands except Stamford. I thought both Fairfield and Syston were unlucky not be in prizes. Both very musical and clear performances.
    Congratulations to all winners.
