    Only one I can remember was by Gordon Higginbottom many years ago.

    Yeah, this is the only one I know of too. It would be great if one of the current horn soloists put it on disc....

    - Sandy Smith would be my first choice! His sound, style and technique is ldeally suited in my opinion. Strange that he hasn't made a solo album during his career (yet ... :tup ).
