The Ashokan Farewell (Jay Ungar arr. Alan fernie)

I Know Thou Art Mine (Isaac Unsworth)
Largo al Factotum (Rossini arr Stephen Roberts) - Eb bas solo

The Earl of Oxford's March (William Byrd arr. Philip Sparke)
Somewhere in Time (John Barry arr. Klaas van der Woude) - Eb cornet solo

Solo Secundo (William Himes) - 2nd horn solo ;)
Just a Closer Walk (arr. Alan Fernie)

excellent concert, soloists were great, especially 2nd horn player Peter Cools :D

other remark: it seems like everyone plays Valero nowadays! :)

Its good to se Philip Sparke's Concerto Grosso on the programme. I am surprised that not many bands put this one on their progs.

Nice mix of old and new there, and great to see "The Arcadians" - one of the first pieces I ever played with Coventry Festival band on the bandstand in Wolverhampton some 36 years ago! Great melodies, though, and well worth a revival ;)

I'm not sure whether it has been published - ours is a manuscript set sent to our B/M by Richard a few years ago (they were old friends).
