hey everyone, I just wanted to know if any other bands have quartets within the band, we have 2 one in the juniors and one in the seniors, made up of younger players, and i think its a great way to improve because you have to listen so carefully when there is only 4 of you, and you have to play together!!:sup

For many years the National Capital Band had a sextet from within the group, although it hasn't been used much in the last couple of years. We've also been exploring the idea of forming a tuba quartet.

I enjoy our Junior Senior Quartet, Liz. I think my intonation is improving. A little bit. I think John will get out Euryanthe soon...
Let's kick some bum at Robertshaw, 'ey? Contests in the small group are fun.

We are lucky enough at bestwood to have 4 trombonists on the books, so I have bought some trombone quartets for us...
