    Hi guys,

I'm looking for a Brass tutor in the North west (Manchester area). Not a learn to play tutor as after playing 3rd man in the 1st section and principle in the 2nd i think i know the basics LOL ;) What I'm after is someone who i can go to and say "this is a current problem with my playing, how do i rectify it".

So if anyone knows a good one that can do 1:1 tuition, please can you let me know.

Try Mark Wilkinson from Foden's Band. He's on here under the name 'Wilky.'

+1. Or you could also try either Andy MacDonald or Brian Taylor. Both excellent players and excellent teachers as well. Andy's top man at Wingates and Brian's at Fairey's. Search for the respective band sites and you'll get contact details.

You could always contact the tutors at RNCM...

So you're after a coach, rather than a tutor? I'd agree with the above - Royal Northern, or Wilky.

Thanks for the responce guys, yes it is more of a coach I'm after, like you get on a workshop only 1:1.

I've got a few pm's to reply to plus I'll drop wilky a mail if these don't turn out.

    Cheers guys.
