    hi experts, does anyone know of a recording of Prelude and Jubilate by Darrol Barry, its the 3rd section Pontins piece. I know part of it has been recorded (the prelude I think) but I could do with listening to all of it

    cheers

    Looks like Jubilate was recorded by Cory on Men of Stone but I don't have a listing for the whole thing. I know Darrol is a user of tMP so hopefully he may be able to help further.

    Here's the link to the Cory disc anyway;

    Hi Sharon,

    Unfortunately only Jubilate has been recorded as World of Brass have already mentioned. Cory were recording Jubilate and Bob Childs mentioned to David at Kirklees that it would make a good test piece if it was longer! David asked me if it was possible to extend it but I though it would spoil it so I wrote the opening prelude to bring it upto test piece length.

    Hope you enkoy working on it!!!

    Cheers
    Darrol
