    Hi Tabbs,

For A Swiss Excursion the percussion is as follows:

    Three timpani
    side drum
    bass drum
    two bongoes
    tam tam
    clashed cymbals
    bell tree
    loose cymbal

    Hope this helps.

  5. If anyone has contact with Ray Payne/pontins organisers, apparently there is only one bell provided for Facets, we need the set as fourth movt has 5/6 different bell notes.

    Facets of Glass - Percussion

    The percussion provided for Facets of Glass is as follows;

    • 3 timpani
    • 18" and 20" suspended cymbals
    • 20" clash cymbals
    • Eb tubular bell on stand
    • 22" Pearl Masters kick bass
    • 36" concert bass drum
    • grover triangle on stand
    • glockenspiel
    • grover tambourine
    • wood block
    i think thats all.
as to the problem with only 1 tubular bell, i have found a recording of the piece and they use the glock in the last movement instead of the tubular bells.
and seen as there is only one tubular bell provided, you are gonna have to cope with it.
