    Congratulations to Skelmanthorpe.
Presume they shall be playing Festival Music at the Wilkinson Open then?
We'll just have to bring them down to earth and give em a good woopin :D

:? At least i hope we do!

  7. Thanks for your congratulations.....it was a good day for us after the disappointing result at the Grand Shield.

We haven't decided yet what we are going to play at Wilkinsons. Look forward to your challenge though...... :)

I heard Skelmanthorpe play and was very impressed, well done on an excellent result. Solo Euph, Cornet and Sop were spot on as well.

Heard Carlton Main who were 4th. Thought they were very good so the top 3 must have been excellent.

Post match drink only...and only if we come in the top six and you do not split any notes!

Ahhhh.... well Phil, unfortunately I wasn't at Pontins, as I was in Belgium. I'm sure the band will get over it and play a blinder up in Glasgow on Paganini (I'm hoping to go to this one if I can sort a train for that morning). This time I WILL go and listen and not just stay in the bar (a la Fleetwood  ).
