    Very true.
But why pick A LONDON OVERTURE AGAIN for 1st section when it was picked for first section at Pontins only a few years ago?
    Any thoughts on that.
    Any of you out there?

It would appear that I'll be playing London Overture with Ibstock at Pontins - never played it or even heard it, so it'll be interesting for me ;)

I've been roped in to dep for them - first rehearsal tonight. Is it any good?

London Overture Great Piece For 1st Section!!

Played It Twice With Different Bands

All Soloists Round The Band Have Nowhere To Hide.

Disappointed I'm Not Playing It Again :-(-but Looking Forward To Playing Dances & Arias For The 1st Time! :d

Not only was it only used about ten years ago in the same section, but one of the adjudicators is the same too. Surely there are other pieces available.

I'm looking forward to playing in "The Fun Factory", unfortunately my imagination is coming up with all kinds of things :D
