The PolySteel Band under musical director Philip Harper, will be making a welcome return to Cheltenham's Bacon Theatre in February when it presents a joint concert with the Foxmoor School Band of Stroud.
The concert takes place on Saturday 17 February at 7.30pm and is entitled ‘The Age of Chivalry’. Music will reflect the evening’s theme with classic items such as Music from the Royal Fireworks, For the Love of a Princess (from the hit movie Braveheart) and My Love is like a Red, Red, Rose.
The concert comes hot on the heels of PolySteel’s prize winning performance at the recent prestigious Butlins Mineworkers Open Brass Band Championships and the band is currently in training for the forthcoming Yeovil Entertainment Championships in February.
The concert takes place at the Bacon Theatre, Dean Close School, Cheltenham on Saturday 17 February at 7:30pm. Tickets are £10 and are available from the Bacon Theatre box office. (Tel. 01242 258002).
