Anyone know of any CD recordings of this piece?

In a word, no. The only recording I know of is on the old Black Dyke LP 'Champions Again'. I suppose it might crop up on Ebay and you could transfer it to CD....

The Music of Eric Ball by Brighouse & Rastrick

Thanks - unfortunately it seems like these are generally unavailable or stupidly priced 2nd hand! I not inclined to splash out £25 on an old CD!!

The music of Eric Ball by B&R is a great CD. It was recorded in 1991 and the soprano playing is awesome lol

Seriously though. Love Petit Suite de Ballet. The CD also contains a recording of the Undaunted which we did in one take. There is a particularly great moment where the euphoniums hit a top C instead of a top D!
