Peter Lockett has announced today that he has resigned as the Musical Director of The Longridge Band. This brings to an end an enjoyable 19 month spell with the band, taking them to various contests, producing a Christmas C.D., and also being involved on a tour to Spain.

He has enjoyed working with the band, as they have on the whole, performed well on the contest stage. He wishes the next M.D. the best of luck and good fortune, whoever it may be.

Gareth have passed on your best wishes. i really want him too! it may be a possibility - if some one offered him a bass i don't think he would be able to keep his hands off it!! don't think it would take him that much time to get back in to shape

I'm currently standing in at Northop again but only until after Harrogate. He would be more than welcome but it may be a little far to travel, who knows!!!!
