Anyone out there interested in a spot of percussion/kit teaching in Salisbury on a Saturday morning?

I know of a position going. It is a very nice set up with lots of instruments, a nice smart and large portacabin to work from (with good heating!) and some very keen pupils who give up their saturday morning to learn.

The scheme feeds into several wind and jazz bands so pupils also get a lot of performing.

So if you are interested, drop me an email at and I'll put you in touch with the centre.

I forgot to mention of course that it is a paid position :)

Anyone know of any percussion specific forums around in the UK that I could also post this on?

It is a shame that no one has showed any interest in it as it would really suit someone who has brass band experience as the wind bands tend to play the same material.
