I am sorry to announce the passing of Cliff Edmunds. Those who knew Cliff knew him as a superb tenor horn player, being the solo horn for Morris Motors, Men O'Brass and Harry Mortimer's All Star Band. When Cliff retired from playing he took up the baton and became resident conductor for Morris Motors and later Oxford Concert Brass. Cliff also adjudicated for many years where he judged all over the country.

Sorry to hear this. In recent efforts to put down some history for KCB, I made some enquiries into Cliff's health, and was told that he was very unwell. He was, along with Harold Williams, who also passed away in recent years, the motive force behind the formation of Oxford Concert Brass into the banding force that it became. Wish I'd met him.
  3. Sad to hear this news.....I have a couple of tracks on my next Sunday Bandstand show from Harry Mortimer All Star Concert Band in 1958 and names of players but no doubt Cliff would be playing
