Interesting. If you were offering those odds with real money, you'd be deluged with bets on Argentina.

And I'd be delighted to take them on the most over-rated team in the competition.

Take Messi & Tevez out and who have you got?

Paraguay in Blue & White Stripes!!!

I'm a bit surprised Mexico has higher odds than USA!
Put me down for a fiver on Argentina and a fiver on USA.

Mmm.. perhaps 5/1 is a bit generous

USA may struggle to get out of the group, Slovenia may raise a few eyebrows

Mexico? Might lengthen 'em a bit after there performance this afternoon

Oh, I kind of agree with you that Argentina are over-rated, just not that over-rated. I'd have guessed they'd be at about 12-1 or so, whereas you have 22-1, and the main online bookies are all between 6 and 7/1!

Maybe I'm just a soft touch (but a confident one)

Can I have a virtual £10 E/W on Argentina before you cut the price, please?

Best price 6/1, 59/10 on betfair. Looks like the traders at my firm have already arbed on them and that's why we are 11/2

I'll cover that virtual bet @ 20/1 and look forward to my £££

ARE YOU SERIOUS??? A genuine contender should have put Nigeria to bed by 2 or 3 goals. How close did Nigeria come to equalising late on?

England & Germany both 9/1 on their showings

It pains me to say it but i'll have a virtual £20 on Germany, they were a bit too fluid and good for my liking!!

I'm not, but the traders do take their betfair accoutns very serioulsy
How do you think most bookies price up these days. Old fashioned statisitics, or by the lemming process via Betfair???????

I use Betfair so I understand that, I just can't understand why they (Argentina) are so popular.

Let's add to this equation that they're managed by EASILY the loosest cannon in football history...

Fuerza Chile (well, let's be honest, if FabCap sticks with Green in the sticks, what odds England don't even make it out of the group stage. Still, it will be the balls fault!).
