Old hall brass are delighted to announce the Rob Singleton is the deserved winner of the first Old Hall Brass ‘Longest Note Competition’ The competition is the brain child of the Band’s M.D. John North, ‘the idea is to introduce some good humoured competition between the very keen members of the band – whilst improving stamina and note/tone control – So far the results have been very encouraging’. Speaking about his victory Rob Singleton said ‘I’m delighted to be the first winner of this important, landmark competition – I’m going to practice and train as hard as possible to keep this title mine. I’ve already enrolled at a local gym.
