Can somebody help me? I'm trying to learn piano again and failing miserably  I can't remember bass clef very well, which is a tad on the useless side! Does anybody know those little rhymes that teachers tell you to remember the bass clef notes for lines and spaces? I can't even remember that!

Or does anybody know I nice easy way of remembering the bass clef notes?

    Thanks Muchly

I always remember when being taught the piano the notes on the lines were:

Treble Clef: Every Good Boy Deserves Favours
Bass Clef: Good Boys Deserve Favours Always

Not favours, Nigel. Football. It only worked for Paul Weston when he changed it to football, and suddenly the class's boys were all interested...

  12. i had to learn bass clef for when my theory exam,. it still takes me a while to read so i sympathise with your situation! however, i have tried learning rhymes and the two i was told was All Cows Eat Grass (spaces) and Good Boys Deserve Favour Always (lines). however i found that the best way to learn it was to think treble clef up a line/space.

    hope this helps :D
