I thought I'd start a thread off for the Norwegian Championships, particularly as we've recently had one or two new members from that part of the world.

The draw for the Elite, 2nd & 3rd Divisions is now on 4barsrest:

Good draw for Eikanger, playing last ;)

Good Luck to all in Bergen today and tomorrow , fantastic place to play.
if only more competitions here in the UK were as well run and organised as the NC in Norway..

Agree with you Neddy, hope they both do alright and a bit of damage to the bar

P.S - Selmer must have been on something, picking Woyage of Discovery for a 4th section band

I also see that Frans Violet (of Willebroek) is conducting "Journey to the Centre of the Earth" with a 1st section band. They certainly don't choose the easiest pieces over there...
  8. No, we don't.. Some years ago we played "the forest of Dean" in 3. section...

Well done to Russell and Stavanger. Who said you couldn't pull off a result on the same piece twice? At least he'll be smiling at Tuesday's rehearsal! Congratulations again!

Not very well. We used to live there. Wish I was there for the contest. It's fantastic.

Russell is doing brilliantly! He used to live there too.
