    YOUTH SECTION 6b

    1st - Deiniolen Youth (Hefin G Jones) - 170 points :cool:
    2nd - Llanrug Youth (M Thomas) - 169 points
    3rd - Beaumaris Youth B (Fred Evans) - 168 points

    Best Hymn Tune - Deiniolen Youth

    Best Soloist in Youth Sections
    : Solo Euph - Northop Youth A

    Am well chuffed and am off to drink the prize money!!!!

    Open Section:

    1st - Rhyl Silver (G Westwood) - 183 points

    Best March: Rhyl Silver

    Best Soloist - Solo Cornet ........ guess the band? Yup, Rhyl! ;)

    PS. There was no 2nd Section contest this year.

    Me and Timbone are heading your way for a blow as we are on a little break to Llandudno this week.

    I would like to add how proud we are at Deiniolen to be the first winners of a brand new shield for the above award. The prize in question has been donated in memory of Mr. Eifion Rogers - a man who gave his life to Welsh banding - in particular to the youth of Wales.
