Use this thread for nominations for the tMP Website of the Month July 2006 competition.

Remember that all nominations have to be seconded! Last month we had a lot of nominations, but only a couple of seconds! For an overview of the rules, see http://www.themouthpiece.com/vb/showthread.php?t=14015

  2. I nominate http://www.nabba.org, the website of the North American Brass Band Association. The website has undergone a marvelous transition since Jim Grate took over responsibility for its structure and content, along with Doug Yeo's fine editing of NABBA's electronic newsletter, The Brass Band Bridge. There is much of interest to all bandsmen and bandswomen, not just those from the US.

Please allow me to "third" NABBA's web site. Jim Grate has done a fabulous job.

Jan has already pointed out that the NABBA is in the shortlist for June's Wom award, and therefore can't be considered for July's contest. Perhaps you should pop over to June's thread and vote? ;)

Yes, As explained in the rules, all members can make two nominations or seconds or a combination (1 nomination and 1 second)

Now you just need to find people to second your nominations!

I'd like to nominate the East Yorkshire Motor Services Brass Band - www.eymsbrassband.co.uk - full of fascinating information, news, and a gallery that shows the best in all sides of Banding (Performance, socialising and fun).

    Someone to second it please.
