I have a restricted choice this year (not heard a much as I should have) so apologies to the likes of Mr. Sparke. I nominate Pete Meechan's Requiem Paraphrases for euph. although I feel the accompaniment with orch. brass instruments juxtaposes the soloist a little better than band ones.

Once again, if people only took the time to read the guidelines for these awards before posting - there's no need to nominate those who have been nominated already.

    Groan.

Thank you Lou, the cheque's in the post! However I should confess that that the mentioned work isn't actually eligible, being written and premiered last year

Since I'm here, I'd like to nominate Mr Sparke's Music for Battle Creek - yet another winner from the pen of the master.
