I vow to drink more, eat more and find myself a nice lady to carry on with. I also need to learn to triple tongue (never got the hang of that), get to grips with my upper register and generally spend more time practicing - I'll need it for the Vaughn Williams piece at the area.

Most importantly, I must must spend more time at work, er, working. ;)

    Standard ones for me...
    1. Eat less
    2. Drink less
    3. Exercise more (just once will beat the attempts in 2004)
    4. Spend less money on me on things I don't need, more on other people who do need it and it turn sort out my finances
    5. Not to get kicked out of uni
    6. Practise more to become fludgelator extraordinarie
    7. <the millions of other things that'll make be a better person go here>
I don't think my personal expectations are un realistic....

Mine are a bit vague at the moment but ere goes:

    1. Be positive!!! I've had health problems galore this year and in my usual manner cope up to a point then decided to not cope in a very large way! So, having just cried through Helen Rollason's autobiography, I am going to be a lot more upbeat and deal with all life throws my way without panic! :)
    2. Do more practice - like actually bother to get the flug out of the case on a day that isn't Sunday or Thursday  and thus get my strength back
    3. Actually DO the exam I've been putting off for a year so I can start specialist training ( be warned I may start posting when stressed...)
    4. Save money and not buy anything I see and vaguely like
    5. Actually USE the workout DVDs I bought today...;)
    6. Lose a tiny bit of weight before the wedding
    7. Ring someone I don't often speak to once a week (not the same person every week tho!)
Any other bright ideas??? Or incentives to help me keep them for a change?

The main one for me is to lose all the weight I've gained after I hurt my back 18 months ago, no excuse now that I can actually move without pain!

Secondly, to actually be able to play soprano cornet (there's a first for everything I suppose...;) ) not a particularly easy part for Tam O' Shanter, means that I should actually practice........(again, a first :D )

    1. One resolution I'm gonna have is not do anything stupid... I did some stooopid things this year and they are not gonna happen again!!!!!
    2. Practise more than I do.
    3. Compose more and more and more and more and more.
    4. Rise above anything bad that may happen.
    5. Get my life sorted out for work after I've graduated so I'm not sitting on my butt all day doing nothing.
    6. Play a Soprano Cornet (last band instrument to play on!!! :D )
    7. Exercise more!!!

.... more to come if... when..... I think of... more ;)

1)Practice way way more an keep doing it not just for 1 week(that way i'll hopefully get better)
2)Not talk constantly through band practice
3)Do my homework.....instead of coming on here
    4)Not be as annoying
    5)Practice practice practice

If i manage to do any of these for more than a week.....

Julie and I started early, we stopped smoking over 7 weeks ago. Our resolution is to stay stopped.

I'm gonna say practise more, and get more school work done...... would be handy considering I've got a bucket full of exams at the end of may!
