The Shirley Band are pleased to announce that over the past two months a trio of new players have arrived to bolster the ranks as a new and exciting future is dawning for the band (choreography is starting to feature in the concert programmes too - scaring the pants off our 2nd Euph!!!).

Joining the Sara Kimber and John Brigham in the Horn Section is Laura Greenaway, whilst Jack Bond and Andrew Yeomans have completed the trombone section, much to the delight of Richard Nield, Principal Trombone. The trombonists and are already preparing their first trio, which will see its debut performance at Pershore Midsummer Brass, under the direction of David Bishop-Rowe.

The band are now seeking a permanent member of the Baritone section and a couple of cornet players to complete that section of the band. Any interested players are welcome to send me a PM; to make contact by telephone on 07821-924759, or to make contact via the band website
