    Hi tMpers,

As of today, Arrange-it has been officially launched on the web. Arrange-it is a new arrangement / publishing business working across all genres and specialising in Brass Bands. The first 6 works are all for brass band and are available immediately.

Please have a look through the site and please join us on facebook to keep up to date with the new music that is coming in the next few weeks.

View the Score doesn't work for me. Just a blank page.

It's a nice idea.. hope it works out. I get "missing plugin" at present.

I can view the scores OK. You just have to install Sibelius Scorch. It would be helpful if the site gave that information and a link to the Scorch download page

It's free, rather like Acrobat Reader for pdf files.

Oh...and with the Scorch plug-in installed it's also possible to play the scores, although it does help if you've got a decent sound card.

Why o why do you have to use Sibelius?
These are no sound samples but hurtful noises.
Sibelius-the composer- would be turning in his grave if he new of his name being (ab)used in connection with this mess.
No, nothing to do with the quality of the arrangements. Only it would make a much better impression and would probably get more customers "through the door" if listening to Sibelius scorch didn't bring you to the edge of Tinnitus.

Whether you use Sibelius or any other music notation programme, the sound fonts will never be totally acceptable. The fact is that Sibelius is the preferred programme for the majority of brass band composers/arrangers. Personally, I use "Mozart", and that programme uses Microsoft 'midi sound fonts'. These are probably more easy on the ear than those used by Sibelius, but still far from satisfactory.

Hi all, there was an issue with the scorch files in Internet Explorer which is now resolved. Hopefully sound live files will be uploaded in the very near future, once we get some of these being performed.

Good luck with it Steve. Anything that brings fresh repertoire to banding can only be a good thing. :)

Alas no. Work-duties and a diversion of capital to other projects have left me unable to attend..... for which my liver is eternally thankful....

Desford Band gave a stunning performance of our new release 'Brooklyn' on Sunday. Hear it at by visiting the shop page.
