    Guest Soloist: David Thornton (euphonium)

    As part of the New Music North West Festival, the RNCM Brass Band and the University of Salford Brass Band join together in concert at the RNCM with conductors Russell Gray and Dr Howard Evans with guest soloist David Thornton. The evening will celebrate works by many leading composers associated with the North West and will also include 'In Pitch Black' by Lucy Pankhurst, who recently won a British Composer award for innovative work.
