Are you a Brass Player (of any level)? Aged between 7 and 18? Fancy a new challenge in 2011? Drighlington Youth Band is currently a small, but growing, Youth Band based just outside Morley near Leeds. We are a small band with big ideas and we need you to help make it happen! Whatever brass instrument you play (oh and you percussionists too ) we have a space for you! All of the music we play is carefully picked to push our members that little bit further (but not too far ) and be extremely good fun to practice and perform (no, not easy and cheesy). In the last 2 years we have restarted our concert performances with several bookings already in for 2011 (and a planned joint concert weekend with a similar youth band), but we want to do more and that's why we need you! So, if you are free on a Tuesday night between 7pm and 8:30pm, come on down and join in the fun (and you don't have to register with us either so you can still play with any other contesting band)!
