A march based on the dance portion (Bacchale Danse) of Camille Saint-Saën's Samson et Delilah. Written for brass band, and it is a bit on the difficult side.

You can hear a pretty decent synthesized MP3 and download the score for free:

The total cost is only $25 (a bargain in the UK as it would be close to £13).

If your band is up to playing something with lots of running eighth and sixteenth notes that is a little different, this is a piece to consider.

Simple percussion so it could actually be played "on the march" sans tympani and one bar of the xylophone solo could be played by any instrument the MD thought would be nice.

See it, hear it, and if you like it, buy it at:

If you listen to the piece, I would LOVE any feedback -- and not just positive. I would like real, heart-felt feedback. If you say something that may be perceived as bad, I will not be upset - quite the opposite -- I would be honored you took the time.
