No I don't think it has been arranged as a tuba solo , there is an arrangement for Soprano Cornet by Simon Kerwin.

There is at least one version for trom/euph, but I don't know how high the solo part would go if you played it on EEb. A search on Just Music reveals a number of versions, some with band accompaniment and some with piano, several of which offer an Eb soloist's copy.

the arrangement i've got is in a book of trombone solos, in Emaj and goes up to a top G# for us. doesnt that make it somewhere near a D# for Eb instruments?

but there again if you're looking for band parts etc it may be a different version.

Wasn't it originally written for Tuba and later transcribed for Tenor so that Luciano Pavarotti could sing it for the World Cup ;)
