    Hey

I play for the Cornwall youth brass band and we have Les Neish coming down as our soloist this year. He has asked to do masterclass with the basses and play solos with piano in front of the band. Thing is i don't have any solos since since i play BBb bass anyway! lol Could anyone help me with any solos that i could get and practice before 21st March?! Im about grade 5-6 standard!

    Help pleaseee

    Matt

The Capuzzi is a good one.

Have a look at the ABRSM syllabus for grade 5 tuba that could give you an idea. Arthur Frankenpohl's Concertino for Tuba is a good one to listen to and play and it's not too challenging.

  4. Matt how about Baa Baa Black Sheep, or Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, im sure with some practice you will have them mastered, you might be able to play a couple of pedals lol
