Nationals predictions - too soon?

    OK, so it won't be too long to wait but is it time for a set of predictions for London and Cheltenham?

    What would you like to see and what do we think we will see?

    What about a Peter Graham theme?

    1st. Essence of Time
    2nd. Blazon
    3rd. Renaissance
    4th. Northern Landscapes

    Don't really want to think about this until we know whether we have qualified (our area is this week). But I hope that the panel continue in the same vein as they did for the areas - thought the choices were very good this year

    Some interesting test pieces in 'featured items of the month' on Just Music website home page.... Do they know something we don't??

    The committee responsible met on Tuesday 18th so it has already been decided. They now just need to give the music companies a chance to double their prices before it is announced although it may be semi-leaked here at some stage.

    I'm very happy with the selection. Eric Ball's music (and indeed anything old in general really) really suits my band. I was actually hoping for Eric Ball for our section and got my wish! Can't wait to get my teeth stuck into the Tournament!

    Cracking piece, lovely music - certainly not one to underestimate, though (especially principal cornet nerves)
