There's a little more information about it (adjudicators, pieces etc, but no lists of bands yet) on 4barsrest. It says that there are 35 bands. As the award for the most promising band is this year to be awarded to a band in the Community Section maybe this suggests that the highest entry of bands is in this section. Sellers Youth will be in that Section and have drawn No.7 (think I can say that as its open adjudication!). We will also be giving the World Premiere of a new piece by Black Dyke's young composer in residence, Pete Meechan. Hopefully, after Blackpool,I can get the timings right this time!
