I have never in my life, heard this piece before and I can't get a recording of it because they only sell them in Britain (trust me I have tried many ways!)

Mod Edit: You can't ask for illegal copies of music on tMP. No can do!

You might like Phillips music, many of us do - myself included, but you can't ask for copies or recordings to be sent to you... especially on tMP.

Not sure what the problem is but, although we're based in the UK, we will deliver worldwide.

Music for Battle Creek is the title track of a CD by Black Dyke Band.

It was selected as the Championship Section test-piece for the 2007 National Brass Band Championships which was won by Grimethorpe Colliery Band.

If you want to buy a recording of this piece alone, you can purchase Grimethorpe Colliery Band's winning performance at the 2007 National Championships as a download here.

Is it possible to use the phone as a buying method?

You must not be trying very hard, because the first page of a Google search turns up FOUR videos on youtube, two on Yahoo! Music, and one on and half a dozen CDs offered for sale outside of Great Britain.

I noticed too. For a second, I thought about correcting the thread title. But it was too funny, so I just left it :)

I was wondering if the whole band had to shout "This is SPARTAAAA!!!" halfway through it.....
