I hope I'm in the right forum here. I'm new to tMP and forums in general. I was wondering if anyone could give me a little mouthpiece advice. It must be ten years since i played seriously. I have mainly played cornet and that on my orriginal mouthpiece the anonymous G22 given to me by Harry Lawn my first teacher, I also have a DW 2b which I enjoy. However I'm playing trumpet as well now and have a John Packer 5C that came with the trumpet. I'm just not quite happy with it, it feels very shallow. Mouthpieces now seem to be a minefield of signiture model heavytops and Megatones and I'm a bit lost. I like Wicks on the Cornet so I was thinking of one of the Maurice Murphy signature models but I'd welcome any input. I know that no one can be definitve but HELP.....

    Thanks All

    Andrew
