We always seem to get one or two of our training section instruments brought
back with jammed mouthpieces, so I'm planning to buy a proper mouthpiece
    puller for the band.

So far the only one I've found is the bobcat but there doesn't seem to be a
lot of information available - can anyone comment on what instruments it fits?

HI andy, we have just bought one of these for our youth band, ts an extremely versatile tool, and will pull anything from sop to bass.
Cant remember were we bought ours, but i know it was half the price that Normans were quoting.
I'll dig out the reciept for you and let you know

    £40. i was quoted £63 everywhere else.
like i said, earlier, well worth buying and so easy to use.:tup

I've used a Bobcat for years - haven't found anything it doesn't fit yet.

My students all know the deal - first time is free, the next time I will charge them £1 (much cheaper than the local music shop) - I have easily made my money back over the years.
It also stops them hitting the mouthpiece.

Thanks super_sop and trumpetmike, that's just the sort of info I was after. I'll be getting one of those I think!
