hi experts, does anyone know where I can get a mouthpiece custom made? I have a trumpet mouthpiece and it is an old one, just says made in England and I would like 2 copies of it, one as a spare and one for a mate of mine, any ideas on who makes them and how much its likely to cost

    cheers Shaz x

I should have thought any engineer with a lathe should be able to do that for you? Wouldn't expect you would have to find a specialist mouthpiece maker to do this.

Try giving John Packers in London a ring. They made me a mouthpiece within a week. Mind you, it was for a proper instruument. ;)

Contact Alric Knight. His work is fantastic both customising existing mouthpieces and making copies.

I dont have his number to hand but i can get it for you.

Although im sure Mr Richard "Bones" Walker may have it.
