Which Brass Band instrument would Dr Who play?

    Given that the good Doctor has been known to join in things that are very British, notably playing cricket and scoring a hundred from number 11 in one PD episode, I suspect he must at some point have played in a Brass Band.

    So, please vote for which instrument you think he would play by choice, and say why in the thread.

    I'm assuming given his genius that he could play all instruments if he chose, so I'm interested in playing which instrument brings a Gallifreyan with a wanderlust the most joy...

    Wheres the poll? Anyway horn cos horns are ace an so is he even if he is a bit strange. But for some reason i think he should play trombone...

    No were not im saying trombone i dont think he suits horn for some reason even though he is insane as are all proper horn players...

    that is very true! all the horn players i know are insane. I believe it helps!

    With those ears it can only be either trombone or horn. I think the bone wins, though - horn players are rarely that far off the wall :p

    I reckon that his two hearts should put him in good stead either to take the sop seat or to join the engine room of the band, although over a period of time he could probably take all the positions in - he could always use his 'tonic screwdriver' to give himself an edge ;)
