I think the chances of Wales being unable to find a rugby squad are very slim Tubb!!! If necessary I think 15 blokes with 15 legs and arms between them would turn out to avoid having to forfeit a game. Passionate country indeed :) Mr Ruddock leaves a very good squad behind him.

The sporting life website suggests that "player power" is behind ruddocks departure. Shame their pack couldn't find any power when they played ENGLAND arf arf!!!

They were talking on the TV news this morning about a big bust-up before the Scotland match, but I'm sure more will come out in due course.

Interesting that the "Have your say" BBC Rugby Bulletin Board is "Offline for essential maintenance" this morning ;)

What's the betting that it's all about Gavin Henson returning to the squad after suspension?

If there's only 15 arms and legs between them, they'll have to catch & throw one handed, and also hop.
Would make the scrums and line-outs interesting!!

If it is to do with the players then (and it pains me more than you can know to say this) I hope we win the wooden spoon to teach some of the egos a lesson.

However, having followed Welsh rugby for over 20 years it seems much more likely that this is down to moronic behaviour by the WRU over Ruddock's new contract. The implication from the BBC report here is that Ruddock would have stayed until the end of the 6 Nations, but the WRU wanted him out immediately.

Mike Ruddock has done a great job and it is a shame he has left for whatever reason, whether it is contractual, family, player power, Gavin Henson or even Charlotte Church.

However his appointment was clouded by the fact that everybody else seemed to want Gareth Jenkins to get the job and there was some political (in Welsh Rugby terms) undercurrents concerning that decision.

Good old WRU suits strike again methinks!!

I think Charlotte Church should take over

Yes but hopefully our guys are not packed up with the body building drug Creatine....just read what JPR says about it in the Mail on Sunday and Jeff Powell in Monday's Daily Mail. I dread to think what they may feel or look like in 30 years time.

I think she should play! It'd make the Welsh more attractive to watch. ;)

That might be taking the new Welsh "Sexy Rugby" style a bit too far.....
