Anyone know if there are any plans to record this piece soon? I know David Childs premiered it in a recital a while back, but unfortunately I couldn't get there to listen.

Well, if it hasn't been recorded yet it'll probably end up on his next CD ... which can't be far away. His last one was only a few months ago ...

I'm sure Dave Childs would be the only one who could play it!!!

This concerto is one of the most difficult pieces of music i've ever seen, somehow i don't think it'll find its way into my repitoire list

I have to agree that the Ball Concerto is hard, but I think the Ellerby Concerto is much harder in my opinion!

He played it brilliantly and the brass festival. So he would probably be the likely suspect to record it.
